What makes Rock Out Loud so much different than other music school? We teach our students what they want to learn, not what the teachers want to teach. We have yet to meet a student who was inspired to play guitar after hearing, ‘Mary Had a Little Lamb’. Instead we focus on teaching our students to play the music that inspired them to pick up a guitar in the first place. Whether it’s Classic Rock, Blues, Pop or anything in between, we incorporate their own musical preference to their lessons. Here is how we do it…
We believe in having our students start playing immediately. We also encourage our beginners to start out on an Electric guitar. Not because Electric guitars are so cool, but because Electric guitars are so much easier to play. Acoustic guitars are generally 3 times bigger than an electric guitar. The strings on an Acoustic guitar are also very difficult to press down on, making it difficult for beginners to play a chord.

Whatever you want. Got an itch to memorize the entire Ed Sheeran catalog? No sweat! Let’s say you want to play a blues solo that will make your audience cry tears of joy? That’s great, too! The point is that since everyone is different, everyone gets a different lesson.
WHO IS THE IDEAL STUDENT?
Anyone who can sit and listen, receive coaching and instruction, and is teachable is the ideal student. We don’t look at age or ability. If you have a passion, we want to fan that flame and get you where you want to be on the guitar.
